1) Astra's ($ASTR) launch for NASA TROPICS-1 mission experienced an anomaly over the weekend and shares fell -23.8% on Monday.
Per the company, Rocket 3.3's "upper stage shut down early and did not deliver the payloads to orbit."
Stakes are high now as NASA needs to have four of the planned six TROPICS satellites in orbit to be successful: āThe next two launches need to workā said CEO Chris Kemp.
2) SpaceX has raised $1.685B from 74 investors, according to an SEC filing.
The valuation was not disclosed but per a previous CNBC report, it likely has boosted the company's valuation to ~$127B.
3) Planet ($PL) reported first quarter 2023 financial results on Tuesday after market close. Highlights include:
Cash: $484.5M
Revenue: $40.1M, +25.6% YoY
Adj. EBITDA: ($16.3)M vs. ($3.7)M YoY
NRO Contract: $146M over five years
Shares: -11.5%
4) Bank of America stated Terran Orbital ($LLAP) could double in price.
On Wednesday, analyst Ronald Epstein was out with a bullish note that āthe largest part of its growth story is in its infancy.ā
The firm issued a 'Buy' rating and $9 per share price target. Shares closed +13.8% higher.

Okapi:Orbits Raises ā¬5.5M Seed Round
The German-based startup offers space traffic management software to over 50 current satellites. The round was led by Munich Re Ventures, with participation from Dolby Family Ventures, Herius Capital and APEX Ventures.
Earth Blox Raises Ā£1.5M in Funding

The Scottish startup is the developer of no-code earth observation cloud based SaaS. The funding was raised from Archangels, the worldās longest running business angel investment syndicate.
FAA Concludes Environment Review of SpaceX's Boca Chica Site

The company's famous Starship build and launch site is allowed to move forward as the FAA found no significant impact but is placing a number of conditions on the company to preserve the local environment. Elon Musk said SpaceX will have Starship "ready to fly" in July and "We will have a second Starship stack ready to fly in August and then monthly thereafter."
Impulse Space Raises $10M in Funding
The in-space transportation startup has secured additional capital from VC firm Lux Capital. This follows the companies March 2022 $20M seed round led by Founders Fund.
BirdsEyeView Raises Seed Round

The U.K.-based startup focuses on weather-based event insurance products. The funding amount was undisclosed and the round was led by SFC Capital and the European Space Agency.
Karmin Space & Defense Acquires MG Resign Technology
Partnering with Cornerstone Research Group, Karmin has acquired the MG Resin family of technologies, representing an expansion of core competencies in integrated composite systems for space & defense applications.

Sidus' ($SIDU) Wild Week: After announcing its role in NASA's multi-billion xEVAS contract on Wednesday, shares of the micro-cap company soared +225.0%. By Thursday, shares were up over +500.0% before cooling down Friday.
